Why ?
Why Hajela’s IAS?
The syllabus for the General Studies is virtually unlimited, and, therefore, the choice of topics
to be covered and those to be left relatively uncovered becomes very important and requires a
lot of intelligent decision making.
Another question which arises in the minds of the candidates is about the choice of books and
resource material. They wonder there is any system of Smart Learning available so that by
putting the least effort and time, the outputs can be maximised?
In addition to the textbooks available, its essential also to read PYQs (Previous Years Question
Papers) and take tests from Test Series (Both Prelims and Mains) published by authentic
sources.
it requires a lot of study and analysis to find out the most appropriate topics of study. This study
is not just that of the proportion of various topics in the earlier years papers (PYQs), the degree
of difficulty of those questions but also that of availability of latest techniques in teaching
learning and resources including AI and IT. Hajela’s IAS has already done the required study
and analysis and is making further progress.
Hajela’s IAS will target to develop the candidates into mentally aware, sensitive and inquisitive
human beings with a desire to grow every moment’. This coaching will be provided by various
means viz. offline teaching, online live teaching, recorded lectures, Notes, Current Affairs
Digest, Answer writing exercises, Test Series, Group discussions, Mock Interviews etc.
Hajela’s IAS has its regular faculty who are well versed with the subject and syllabus and who
have themselves actually taken UPSC and MPPSC examinations. Hajela’s IAS regularly
provides training, capacity building, mentoring and grooming of faculty. This work is looked
after by the Director himself.
It uses Smart Classroom and ensures that the latest technology in teaching learning is made
available to the students.
Bilingual Teaching: Hajela’s IAS follows a fundamental principle of developing every material
both in Hindi and English. That would mean that any lecture in English would have an exact
translation in Hindi. Every Model Question or any of the Hajela’s IAS Notes have both English
and Hindi versions. Even communication made within Hajela’s IAS will be bi-lingual but focus
on Hindi.
Hajela’s IAS maximises the use of images, animations, maps, graphs and videos in its
teaching learning material. The benefit here will be that while on the one hand it will help in
easier understanding of the subject and the concepts involved, on the other it will enable easier
memorisation. This includes maximum use of AI.
Guest lecture or in-house lectures are also organised on the topics of motivation, soft skills,
management techniques, yoga etc. Eminent IAS/ IPS, State Service and other experienced
officers are also invited for Guest lectures. The above are also expected to make teaching
learning more interesting.
It’s essential also to have a peer group having the same aims i.e. those appearing in UPSC/
MPPSC etc.
All the above will require reliable mentorship. Mentoring means guidance about the all-round
360 degrees personality and knowledge development of the student. This guidance would start
from suggesting the correct choice of resource material and go much beyond to include
proportion of effort to be made for various subjects, peer group management, time
management, motivation and perseverance, managing conflicting pressures of work and
studies etc Hajela’s IAS eminently fits the bill of both best mentorship and coaching
requirements and comes out as a high quality one-stop destination for UPSC/ MPPSC
preparations.
